The purpose of this form is to learn important information about your family.

We will contact you after reviewing this information.

The Bible teaches that parents are responsible for raising their children in the paideia of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), referring to the holistic training and instruction of children as a whole, including the cultivation of mind and morals. Our role is to partner with parents for the successful and seamless education of their children, which includes a continuity in solid teaching both at home and at school.

Teaching About Sin

If your child attends Asbury Classical School, they will be taught that sin is defined by Scripture. Sin includes things that are often culturally acceptable (e.g., greed, selfishness, sexual immorality, homosexuality, abortion, etc).

Statement of Faith

We are guided by the words of John Wesley:

“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

Trinity: We are called to worship God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Bible: We are a Biblical church, acknowledging the Bible as the primary foundation and final authority of our faith and actions.

Creeds: We affirm the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed as faithful declarations of Biblical truth.

Salvation: We believe in the necessity of faith in Jesus Christ as the crucified and risen Savior and Lord of all.

Forgiveness: We believe that God offers grace and unconditional love to all, providing forgiveness of sins through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Holy Spirit: We affirm the active work of the Holy Spirit, who cleanses and heals the life of the believer, gifts us for ministry, empowers us in prayer, and leads us in understanding the Word of God.

Active Faith: We believe every Christian is called into an intimate relationship with God, faithful relationships with other Christians, and Christ-like service in the world.

Marriage: We believe marriage is biblically defined by a lifelong, sexually exclusive union between one man and one woman that is ordained by God and entered into as a covenant.

Nicene Creed

We believe in one God,
  the Father almighty,
  maker of heaven and earth,
  of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
  the only Son of God,
  begotten from the Father before all ages,
      God from God,
      Light from Light,
      true God from true God,
  begotten, not made;
  of the same essence as the Father.
  Through him all things were made.
  For us and for our salvation
      he came down from heaven;
      he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary,
      and was made human.
      He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate;
      He suffered and was buried.
      The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
      He ascended to heaven
      and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
      He will come again with glory
      to judge the living and the dead.
      His kingdom will never end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit,
  the Lord, the giver of life.
  He proceeds from the Father and the Son,
  and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.
  He spoke through the prophets.
  We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church.
  We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
  We look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
  and to life in the world to come. Amen.
